 WILVIN J. CARTER

Lead Counsel

Mr. Carter is a criminal defense and personal injury attorney with over 15 years of courtroom and trial experience in both state and federal courts. Mr. Carter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Berea College and a Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Carter began his career as a public servant while working as Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Attorney General for the State of Texas.

After ending his tenure with the Office of Attorney General for the State of Texas, Mr. Carter launched his career as an Assistant District Attorney for Fort Bend County.

After serving as a prosecutor, Mr. Carter chose to take his talents to the criminal defense bar, winning over 1000 cases for his clients.

As a result of Mr. Carter’s success as a criminal defense lawyer, he created a Personal Injury and Employment Law concentrations at his law firm .

NIREASHA MURRAY

Criminal Lawyer

Nireasha Murray received her Bachelors of Arts in English from the University of Houston in May 2008. She received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2014.

During her tenure she was hand selected as 1 of only 25 students to participate in the Extensive Trial Simulation course, which trained her how to excel at interviewing witnesses, conducting depositions, researching and gathering documents, meticulously review and analyze evidence, and present legal and evidentiary arguments to an array of audiences.

Attorney Murray handles both felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. Her number one priority is customer satisfaction. She has won over _____ cases for her clients.

During her years of practicing criminal and family law, Attorney Murray has established a strong reputation among her colleagues, court staff, judges, and clients as a hardworking attorney who will always go to bat for her clients and ensure the best outcome for their future.

Mrs. Legier is the lead Paralegal at The Law Offices of Wilvin J. Carter P.C.  Mrs. Legier works directly with all of our personal injury clients and the insurance companies to help ensure that our clients receive the maximum amount of monetary settlements for the injuries that they have sustained as a result of the negligence caused by a irresponsible person or business.

Mrs. Legier has an unparalleled zeal for our clients and she is passionate about seeking justice and obtaining the maximum financial settlement that our clients deserve for their injuries.
